How to connect Sententia to Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot with MCP

Sententia exposes MCP servers —such as CENDOJ case law and your own case files— that you can connect to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot 365 and other clients via OAuth, without leaving the conversation.

SENTENTIA

SENTENTIA

Inteligencia Artificial Legal - LegalTech

The AI assistants your firm already uses (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot 365) are powerful, but by default they know neither official Spanish case law nor your case files. Sententia closes that gap with its MCP servers, which securely connect those sources to the assistant you prefer.

What is MCP (Model Context Protocol)

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets an AI assistant connect to external tools and data sources in a structured way. Instead of copying and pasting information, the assistant invokes tools and retrieves data in real time, preserving the conversation''s context.

For a firm, this means something simple: bring Sententia to where you already work, without switching applications.

Sententia''s MCP servers

Sententia offers a catalog of MCP servers that will keep growing. Today you can connect, among others:

SententIA · CENDOJ — official case law

Provides access to the Spanish case-law search engine (poderjudicial.es / CENDOJ) directly from the conversation.

  • Server URL: https://cendoj.sententia.studio/mcp
  • Example: "Find Supreme Court rulings on floor clauses in 2024".

SententIA · Cases — your case files

Connects the assistant with your Sententia cases: read and manage cases, evidence, facts, petitions, deadlines and annotations.

  • Server URL: https://www.sententia.studio/mcp
  • Scope: casos.
  • Example: "Summarize the evidence in case X" or "What pending deadlines do I have?".

How to connect them

Most modern clients use OAuth: you don''t need to copy any key. The assistant will ask you to sign in to Sententia and authorize the connection.

Claude (web)

Requires Claude Pro, Team or Enterprise.

  1. In claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Enter a name (e.g. SententIA · CENDOJ) and paste the MCP server URL.
  3. Leave Client ID and Secret blank: the server registers them automatically.
  4. Sign in to Sententia and click Allow.

ChatGPT

Requires ChatGPT Pro, Business or Enterprise.

  1. In chatgpt.com, go to Settings → Connectors → Create.
  2. Add a name and paste the MCP server URL.
  3. Under Authentication, choose OAuth (and DCR / dynamic registration if shown).
  4. Accept the notice and authorize the connection in Sententia.

Copilot 365 and other clients

The MCP ecosystem is advancing fast, and more clients (including Microsoft Copilot and enterprise environments) are adding support for remote MCP connectors via OAuth. The procedure is equivalent: register the server URL, choose OAuth and authorize. For local installations such as Claude Desktop, Sententia also offers a .mcpb installation file and a personal key.

Recommendation: start with the client your team already uses daily. The connection is reversible and can be revoked at any time from Sententia.

Real-world use cases

  • Contextualized research: request Supreme Court case law and, in the same conversation, cross-reference it with the facts of a specific case.
  • Hearing preparation: review a case''s evidence and deadlines without leaving the assistant.
  • Informed drafting: write a brief supported by located rulings and the case''s own petitions.

Security and control

  • OAuth with explicit permissions: you authorize what the assistant can see (e.g. the casos scope).
  • No exposed keys in web clients; tokens are managed securely.
  • Access scoped to your organization and revocable at any time.
  • Human oversight: the assistant proposes; you decide.

Conclusion

With its MCP servers, Sententia does not force you to abandon the tools you already master: it brings official case law and your case files to the AI assistant you prefer, securely and under your control. And as the catalog of servers grows, so will the possibilities. This is real interoperability in the service of legal work.
